Chris,
It's one of my favorite places to ride. Very old school in some ways with rocks of all sizes and log overs. The cool thing is (thanks to Jim who lives there) there are a lot of "flow" trails too that wind around on themselves (we get lost sometimes). We (and Jim) have also built a bunch of features. It's not going to be a lot of miles but you will be tired after (in a good way)!
See you then,
Tom

ST PETERS VILLAGE

Joined a great group of D'town riders; Tom, Martin, Eric, Alan, James, Steve (from C2C) & Neil for tour of St Pete's. Nice flat leadout to warm up, which brought us to 100' Ice Flow, that connected us to the climb up the ridge. Lots of impressive boulders, which were mostly ridable and super grippy. Traversed the boulder field which linked us up to a flow trail section with alot of log overs, tight twisties, and punchy climbs up. Dropped in off the back side of the ridge on a sweet technical down hill, then a climb up through the rocks. On the way back we sessioned some boulder lines which was fun as we all cheered each other's accomplishments on. Tip of the cap to James who unfortunately ripped the axel out of his Santa Cruz Tallboy and was done about 30 minutes into the ride, missed you mate!
