The Trail Spinners are trying a Twitter Feed for Trail Conditions.  Follow @MiddleRun_Trail for a daily update.  If you see changing conditions reply to the Tweet and we'll try to update.  This condition report will probably be accurate for Middle Run, White Clay, and Fair Hill.  Here's a sample feed from today.

Fair Hill International Events this Thursday - Sunday Gallaher Road Arenas.

Just a short note to let everybody know that there will be a large equestrian event each day from today 10/17 through Sunday 10/20 at the Gallaher Road arena's.  Please park at one of the other four parking lots if you plan to ride and avoid climbing the hill up to the Gallaher Road parking lot. Remember cyclists must yield to equestrians so you will be walking a lot if you get into this area.

Great Turnout Saturday for the Middle Run and Redd Park Trail Maintenance.  38 Volunteers made super progress on the repairs needed following recent weather.

06/29/2013 - 9:16am

The park had more rain this morning with forecasts for rain almost every day this week.  Crews are out clearing trees and logging in trail erosion and other issues.  This is where you can help for the next few days.  Anybody who can help walk through trail sections and make notes on trees across the trails and other new erosion issues should proceed to one of the Four "exterior" parking lots (not the covered bridge lot) and hike trails and log issues.

Over the past year and very recently we are finding notices and fliers stapled to trees along our trails advertising lost animals and some club activities and some private activities/events.  This notice is to ask any visitors to our web site to use the KIOSKS at park trail heads for this purpose not trees!  To post a notice in a park kiosk, first contact the Land Manager for their policy and to gain approval where needed.  Please also pass this message on to others you know so we can "spread the word"  and stop this practice.
